Check the seller and the listing
Look for a complete seller profile, clear contact and business information where applicable, realistic photos, and specific condition notes. For used items, words such as good or excellent should be supported by visible details.
For fashion, confirm measurements rather than relying only on the size label. For collectibles, ask about provenance, restoration, missing parts, edition details, and whether authenticity documents are included.
Keep payment on the marketplace
Pay through the marketplace checkout. Moving a transaction to a bank transfer, direct message, or unrelated payment link can remove the order record and any buyer-protection process.
Review the full cost before bidding or buying, including shipping and any taxes or import charges that may apply to your destination.
